Jason M. Harkins

Jason Harkins joined Payroll & Benefit Solutions (PBS) in 2005 as its Managing Member. Jason's primary responsibilities include operations management, business development and client relationship management. Prior to joining PBS, Jason worked with Compass Bank for eight years in their Commercial Lending and Auditing areas. Prior to Compass, Jason worked in the local healthcare industry holding various positions in mergers & acquisitions, finance and operations areas.

Jason and his wife, Nikki, have two children, Taylor and Colee. He graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Accounting. Jason is an active member of Mountain Brook Baptist Church and enjoys playing golf and coaching his daughters in sports.

Anna Kathryn Ellis

Anna Kathryn Ellis joined PBS in January 2009 as Director of Business Development and is responsible for all business development activities for PBS. Prior to joining PBS, Anna Kathryn was an Account Manager for a large IT staffing firm in Atlanta, GA. 

Anna Kathryn is a native of Tuscaloosa and graduated from The University of Alabama Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Family Financial Planning & Counseling and a Minor in Business Administration. She is a member of the Rotaract Club of Birmingham, the Junior League of Birmingham, Alabama Women In Business, BSHRM, the BBA Small Business Council, and MGMA of Birmingham. Anna Kathryn serves on the Young Supporters Board for the UAB Comprehensive Cancer Center, the BBVA Compass Young Executive Board, and is a 2010 graduate of Leadership UAB. She served on the Junior Boards for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, American Cancer Society, and Easter Seals from 2009-2011. Anna Kathryn has served as an Ambassador to the Hoover Chamber of Commerce and Birmingham Business Alliance. She received the 2010 B-Metro YP Award along with fourteen other young professionals in Birmingham. She attends Trinity United Methodist Church and enjoys traveling.

Greg S. Liddle

Greg Liddle joined PBS in 2005 as its initial Payroll Specialist. Greg's responsibilities include payroll portfolio management, new client set-up, filing and payment of taxes for various federal, state and local tax authorities, and software and client database maintenance. Prior to joining PBS, Greg worked for a construction firm as its payroll specialist, processing payroll and handling all tax filings within several states across the country.

Greg and his wife, Andrea, have two children. He graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Finance. Greg is an avid bowler, participating in competitive leagues since the age of 7.

Nancy S. Roberson, CPP

Nancy S. Roberson joined PBS in 2006 as a Payroll Specialist. Nancy's responsibilities include payroll portfolio management, new client set-up, and filing and payment of taxes for various federal, state and local tax authorities.

Nancy is a graduate of Jacksonville State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education. She is a member of the Birmingham Payroll Association and is also a Certified Payroll Professional (CPP). Prior to joining PBS, Nancy worked for a Real Estate Investment Trust and has over 25 years experience in Payroll Management and Benefit Administration.

Debi Stolze, CPP

Debi Stolze joined PBS in 2007 as a Payroll Specialists. Debi's responsibilities include payroll portfolio management, new client set-up, and filing and payment of taxes for various federal, state and local tax authorities. Debi's previous employment includes over 15 years of experience in payroll processing, tax reporting and accounting, working in the hospitality, construction, financial and healthcare industries.

Debi obtained the American Payroll Association certification of Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) in 2007. She is an active member of the Birmingham Payroll Association.

Mary Ann Avery

Payroll & Benefit Solutions recently welcomed Mary Ann Avery as a Payroll Specialist. Mary Ann's responsibilities include payroll portfolio management, new client set-up, and filing and payment of taxes for various federal, state and local tax authorities. Prior to joining PBS, Mary Ann worked for the CPA firm Barfield, Murphy, Shank and Smith for 5 years.

Mary Ann is a graduate of the University of Montevallo with a Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus in Accounting and is studying to obtain her Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC).

Beth Richwine

The newest payroll specialist to join Payroll & Benefit Solutions is Beth Richwine. Beth's responsibilities include payroll portfolio management, new client set-up, and filing and payment of taxes for various federal, state and local tax authorities. Prior to PBS, Beth has worked as Payroll Coordinator, HR Assistant and in Accounts Payable. Beth has 2 children and 6 grandchildren and is a member of Evangel Presbyterian Church and is active in the church choir.
